Terms of Service

These are the rules for using Coopair. By creating your account, you accept them. We wrote them in plain language; if anything is unclear, write to us.

Draft for legal review. Not yet reviewed by a lawyer and may change.

Last updated: October 12, 2026 · If the languages differ, the Spanish (Argentina) version prevails. View in Spanish (Argentina)

1. Who we are

Coopair is provided by Javier Bagdadi, an individual, with address at Av. del Libertador 6199, C1428 Ciudad Autónoma de Buenos Aires, Argentina (tax ID CUIT 20-33605897-0), contact hola@coopair.app. These terms are supplemented by the privacy policy.

2. Coopair is not therapy or an emergency service

Coopair is a tool to help a couple talk, play and get organized, with the help of an AI. It is not therapy, psychological or medical treatment, or legal advice, and it does not replace a professional.

It is not an emergency service. If you or someone else is in danger, call your country’s emergency services (911 in Argentina, 112 in the EU). The app may show you help resources, but it does not contact emergency services for you.

3. Dr. Coopair is not a doctor

"Dr. Coopair" is a fictional character, an AI. The "Dr." is part of the character’s name and does not indicate any medical, psychological or professional title of any kind.

Dr. Coopair is not a health professional, does not diagnose or treat and does not replace a therapist or an emergency service. What he says is for guidance only and may be wrong.

4. What Coopair is

An app for iOS, Android and web with: a shared couple chat with an AI mediator, a private channel for each person with the AI, cooperative activities, shared lists, agreements signed by both and an optional Bible module.

Some features may be in beta: they may change, fail or be discontinued.

5. Requirements

  • You must be 18 or older.
  • One account per person, with real information, and you are responsible for keeping your password safe.
  • You can only be in one couple at a time.

6. Your account and linking

To link up, one person sends an invitation (with a code or a link) and the other accepts. No acceptance, no couple. Invitations are single-use and expire.

Only use Coopair with someone who wants to use it with you.

7. Private and shared

What you write in the shared chat is seen by your partner and the AI. What you write in your private channel is never shown to your partner, unless you decide to share it. Chats are stored encrypted.

8. Safety and review when there is a risk

If a message shows a risk to someone, the app may show help resources and the Coopair administrator may review that excerpt and a few context messages. Every access is audited and your partner sees none of this. The details are in the privacy policy.

9. Use of artificial intelligence

Replies are generated by a third-party AI (Anthropic or OpenAI, depending on the configuration). The AI can make mistakes, misunderstand or give incomplete answers: use your own judgment. The mediator does not hand down verdicts or pick a winner.

10. Acceptable use

You may not use Coopair to:

  • harass, threaten, manipulate, control or monitor another person;
  • engage in any form of violence or share illegal content;
  • impersonate someone else or use another person’s account;
  • do anything that involves minors inappropriately;
  • try to breach the security of the service or extract data by automated means.

If these rules are broken, we may suspend or close the account.

11. Free plan and per-couple subscription

There is a free plan with limits. The premium subscription is monthly and per couple: one person pays and both use it, on all their devices (even if one has an iPhone and the other an Android).

It is billed through Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play), with their payment methods and terms. It renews automatically every month until you cancel it in the store where you subscribed. The price is shown in the store before you pay, including any applicable taxes.

If you unlink, the subscription stays with whoever pays for it and the other person goes back to the free plan.

12. Right of regret, cancellation and refunds

Cancellation: in the App Store or Google Play, whenever you want. You keep premium until the end of the paid period.

Right of regret (Argentina): you have 10 calendar days from purchase to revoke it without giving a reason (art. 34 of Law 24,240). Request the refund in the store where you paid, or write to us at hola@coopair.app and we will help you.

Right of withdrawal (European Union): 14 days from purchase, unless you asked to start using the digital content earlier and accepted losing that right. Right of regret (Brazil): 7 days (art. 49 of the Consumer Defense Code, CDC).

Refunds are processed by Apple or Google under their rules, without affecting the rights your country’s law gives you. [TO BE REVIEWED BY COUNSEL: regret button (Res. 424/2020) on the website.]

13. Unlinking

Either of you can unlink the couple at any time, without the other’s permission. When you do, everything shared by the couple is deleted (chats, AI memories, lists, agreements and activities) and cannot be recovered. Each of you keeps your own account.

14. Deleting your account

You can delete your account whenever you want, from the app or from this page. What is deleted and what is kept is explained in the privacy policy. Deleting your account does not cancel your subscription in the store.

We may also close an account that breaches these terms, letting you know when possible.

15. Your content

What you write is yours. You give us permission to store it, process it and send it to the AI providers only to provide the service to you, as described in the privacy policy. You are responsible for what you write.

16. Bible module

It is optional and turned on by the couple. It uses the Reina-Valera 1909 translation, which is in the public domain. It is not religious or pastoral counseling.

17. Intellectual property

The Coopair brand, the Dr. Coopair character, the design, the texts and the software are ours or licensed to us. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app while you have an account.

18. Availability and changes to the service

We do our best to keep Coopair running at all times, but there may be outages, errors or maintenance. We may change or stop offering features; if it is something important or affects what you paid for, we will let you know in advance.

19. Liability

Coopair is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for decisions you make based on what the AI says or for indirect damages. Nothing in these terms limits the rights your country’s consumer protection law gives you.

20. Changes to these terms

If we change them, we will let you know in the app or by email before they take effect. If you do not agree, you can delete your account.

21. Governing law and jurisdiction

The laws of the Argentine Republic apply. If you are a consumer living in another country, you are also protected by the mandatory rules of your country (for example, in the European Union or Brazil) and you can bring a claim before the courts where you live.
